| I have a strong and moderately illustrious background in enzymology and biotechnology, working at University College London in the Chemical & Biochemical Engineering Department before joining London Biotechnology Ltd. This was my first contact with Patents, being an inventor on a few of the things. |
| I also consulted for a publishing venture, Current Patents and developed my own patent awareness and profiling service. |
| Subsequently I started my own business, specialising in molecular diagnostics, which became ZetaGen Ltd, where I was Research Director, responsible for IP. |
| Currently I provide a Chief Patent Officer service to Borealis Technical Limited, filing over 100 patent applications, predominantly in the USA. At the same time, I have worked with individual inventors and SME's to get their ideas protected by patents in as economically as possible.
