Start Points ... |
To patent an idea...
1. It's a new idea! You haven't done much work on it, start at Provisional Application. Then you can raise money, go away, develop it, and file Further Provisionals .
2. It's a mature idea! You have done quite a bit of work on it, start at Full Application. Then you can begin developing and marketing the product.
3. Either way, there are more expenses to face. After a Full Application has been filed, the Examination process begins... Typically, each 'round' of correspondence will carry a cost of £600.
